At present we have 20-22 members in our book club, mostly Nato, but also some local ladies with international backgrounds. We try to keep our club as multinational as possible, to have influences from the various cultures.

We read a book every month, picked by one of our members and preferably a book from an author with the same nationality as the member. The book needs to be translated in English and should have some "weight" to it. The member must have read the proposed book in advance to prevent bloopers, and presents a review (e.g. something on the author, the contents or on the culture to give a brief overview) and then we start the discussion.

The only rule we have is that we all respect each others opinions; we do not judge, so members are able to speak their minds in a safe environment.
