English Conversation Group

Our group is a weekly gathering of SOPC members, whose native language is not English, in the relaxed atmosphere of each other's homes. Newcomers are welcome so if you would like to join us and need information or help with transportation please contact us.

Each Thursday, we begin at 1000hrs for an hour of casual conversation along with coffee and a little something to eat. Then at 1100hrs we spend an hour working on a particular subject or activity that we hope will help you improve your English and give you helpful information about living in the USA. Every week a reminder e-mail will be sent out with the address and any other information you will need for that week.

We are a relaxed and casual bunch.  If you have to be late or leave early, we don't mind. Attendance is at your convenience.  To help out our hostesses, we bring along our own coffee mugs.  We welcome new ladies at any time of the year.
